Every Friday, Hangout Rooftop Bar and Lounge turns back the clock for retro night Kasauli. The night is built around English, Western, Retro, Old School and 80’s Disco tracks.
DJ Paras curates the set. He mixes nostalgic dance-floor classics with deep cuts, keeping regulars and first-timers on their feet until late.

DJ Paras on Retro Friday
Retro style refers to things that display characteristics of the past. The word comes from the Latin prefix retro, meaning backwards. There is something about old songs that everyone seems to agree on. Old school music videos always hit a different vibe. Because of this, Hangout started Retro Evenings on Fridays 8-11 pm. The idea is simple: go back to the bygone era and sway, whirl and twirl on the old classics.
Over the years, DJ Paras has built a deep collection of Old School Western tracks. His set spans English, Spanish, Arabic and other global favourites. As a result, Fridays at Hangout draw a strong local crowd. Hotel guests join in too, for an evening built entirely around 80’s Disco, Funky and Retro sounds.
