The musical evenings at Hangout Kasauli are what set Hotel Kasauli Regency apart. Every week, the rooftop fills up with guests and locals. Together, they enjoy open mic sessions, techno nights, retro Fridays, and jam sessions that go well into the night.

These evenings are not fixed performances. In fact, they are genuinely unpredictable. On any Sunday, you might hear a solo guitarist from Pune. Alternatively, a poet from Delhi might take the mic. Sometimes, a group of strangers starts playing together. Thursday nights, however, go heavier with techno and deep house. Fridays, on the other hand, bring out the retro crowd for 80s disco and old-school hits.

Hangout has hosted some memorable nights over the years. For instance, Raghu Dixit once dropped in for an impromptu set. Moreover, guests from Germany, Spain, Australia, and Belgium have all performed here.
